Automation for Efficiency and Accuracy: Hands-off data extraction and upload frees on-site personnel of the burden of keeping data synchronized with the off-site system. More importantly, it means that all updates to your SIS (student information system) are frequently pushed to the SchoolMessenger database to keep it current. Thus, the most recent phone numbers will be called, and complete records are automatically sent from your food service POS (point of sale) system to SchoolMessenger so that it can include personalized information in negative food service balance calls. Some systems automate a portion of the necessary data upload and a few others automate the extract for certain SIS packages, but SchoolMessenger can fully automate the entire data integration process from most any SIS system and most any data type.
