Comprehensive Data Integration and Automation

A notification system is only as good as the data it uses. Unfortunately, that data is typically stored in disconnected third-party applications - student information system, HR, nutrition and food services, transportation, library, etc. The data needed to send targeted notifications can be spread across any number of systems.

Partnerships
Over SchoolMessenger's long history, we have developed partnerships with most vendors of those other systems, so that our higher level of integration and automation with those systems is both sophisticated and proven. SchoolMessenger's flexible and schedulable data integration can take advantage of your data from all of those sources when sending a broadcast. SchoolMessenger has thousands of school and district users who rely on our systems to connect daily with a vast range of data sources in order to deliver targeted, personalized, and in many cases fully-automated, broadcast notifications.
Automation for Efficiency and Accuracy
Hands-off data extraction and upload frees on-site personnel of the burden of keeping data synchronized with the off-site system. More importantly, it means that all updates to your SIS (student information system) are frequently pushed to the SchoolMessenger database to keep it current. Thus, the most recent phone numbers will be called, and complete records are automatically sent from your food service POS (point of sale) system to SchoolMessenger so that it can include personalized information in negative food service balance calls. Some systems automate a portion of the necessary data upload and a few others automate the extract for certain SIS packages, but SchoolMessenger can fully automate the entire data integration process from most any SIS system and most any data type. Those automatic updates are how SchoolMessenger provides one hundred percent accurate student information.
Self-Updating Lists
SchoolMessenger supports an unlimited number of rules-based, self-updating lists. This means that when changes occur in the student information system, the lists in SchoolMessenger automatically update to reflect the new changes.
